Lantern Books asks for 120 USDT

The customer pays with
...

Lantern Books receives about 120 USDT: the checkout aims a little above the price.

Choose your network once.

USDT is one token issued on many chains. We pay it out on Tron, Ethereum, Solana, Polygon, Arbitrum, Avalanche and TON: pick the one your wallet uses. For how the two most common ones differ in practice, TRC-20 vs ERC-20 has the real transfers.

Your customer's network isn't your problem.

On a plain wallet address, a customer who sends on the wrong network can lose the payment. Here the customer picks what they hold at checkout, USDT on Ethereum, USDT on Solana, bitcoin, anything on the list, and gets a deposit address for exactly that coin and network.

You still get USDT on your network, every time.

Customers pay on whatever network or coin they hold: USDT on Ethereum, USDT on Solana, bitcoin. Each gets a deposit address for exactly that, and you receive USDT on your own network.USDT on EthereumUSDT on Solanabitcoinyour network

Keep a little TRX if you'll move it on.

Receiving USDT on Tron costs you nothing. Sending it on later uses Energy; with none staked, the network burns TRX from your wallet to pay for it. On Ethereum, moving it later costs gas in ETH. Keep a little of either in the wallet that receives.

How fast a USDT payment counts.

Before the payout goes out, we count the deposit after:

  • Tron: 20 confirmations, about a minute.
  • Ethereum: 12 confirmations, about 2 minutes.
  • Solana: 32 confirmations, under a minute.

Want a payout with no issuer?

Tether's own terms let it freeze USDT and blacklist addresses that hold it. That's part of what USDT is. If you'd rather hold a coin with no issuer, set your payout to bitcoin or Monero: your customers can still pay in USDT.

What Tether can see and freeze.

Customers pay in many coins: bitcoin, Monero, USDT, Ether, Solana. Every payment arrives at the shop's one wallet, in the shop's one coin.BTCXMRUSDTETHSOLyour coinone wallet

What the checkout knows.

For each payment: the coins, the deposit and payout addresses, and the times. Invoices are deleted 90 days after they close. No email, no name. The full list.

Questions, answered.

Which network should I take USDT on?

The one your wallet or the place you'll spend it uses. Most shops pick Tron or Ethereum; you can change by setting up again with a new address.

What if my customer holds USDT on a different network?

They pick it at checkout and pay there. You still get USDT on yours.

Can customers pay in bitcoin or Monero and I still get USDT?

Yes, any coin on the list.

Do I need TRX to receive USDT on Tron?

No. You need a little TRX, or Energy, only when you send it on.

How fast is a USDT payment?

On Tron, about a minute of confirmations; on Ethereum, about 2 minutes; then the payout.

Can my USDT be frozen?

Tether can freeze USDT at any address under its terms. If that matters to you, take your payout in bitcoin or Monero instead.

Do I need a memo?

Only on TON, where the payout field asks for one when your wallet needs it. What memos are.

Will I receive the full price?

Paid in USDT on your network, exactly. Otherwise about your price, and the paid webhook says what landed.

Every payment comes home.

In USDT, on your network.
