Lantern Books asks for 120 USDT

The customer pays with
...

Lantern Books receives about 120 USDT: the checkout aims a little above the price.

Setup asks for three things.

The coin and network you want to be paid in, the wallet it goes to, and the shop name your customers see. Then your merchant key, shown once. That's the whole setup.

No email. No password. No passport. No company papers. No bank statements. A freelancer with a wallet sets up the same way a shop does.

Setup asks for three things: the payout coin, the payout wallet and the shop name. It never asks for an email, a password, a passport, company papers or a bank statement.payout coinpayout walletshop nameemailpasswordpassportcompany papersbank statement

Any coin in. Your coin out.

Customers pay in what they hold: bitcoin, Monero, USDT, Ether, Solana and the rest of our list. You get one coin, in one wallet, every time.

Between two coins you receive about your price, because the checkout aims a little above it. Paid in your own coin, it's exact. Want Monero? Customers can pay in it, and you can be paid in it. Taking dollars? USDT on your network, from customers on theirs.

Customers pay in many coins: bitcoin, Monero, USDT, Ether, Solana. Every payment arrives at the shop's one wallet, in the shop's one coin.BTCXMRUSDTETHSOLyour coinone wallet

A fresh address for every checkout.

Every checkout gets its own deposit address, so every payment matches one invoice and nothing needs guessing.

Your payout wallet never changes, and it never appears on the checkout. Customers don't see where your money goes, and nobody can add up your sales from one public address.

Every checkout gets its own deposit address, like its own parcel tag, so each payment matches one invoice. Every one leads to the same payout wallet, which never appears on the checkout.order 1001order 1002order 1003order 1004your walletsame every time

Your shop hears when it's paid.

Four events: invoice.pending when we see the deposit, invoice.paid when your payout is sent, with what landed and the transaction, invoice.expired, and invoice.needs_attention for a short, late or wrong deposit.

Each one is signed with HMAC-SHA256 and your own secret, and retried for 24 hours if your server doesn't answer. The verifier and a test vector are in the docs.

Make a checkout with code, or without.

One call returns a checkout link:

curl https://silentmule.com/api/v1/invoices \
  -H "Authorization: Bearer $SILENTMULE_KEY" \
  -d '{"amount":"49.90","reference":"A-1001"}'

No code? Make a payment link with no end date, for a price or any amount, with its QR code. Or a pay button for any site: copy it, paste it. The full API.

Who pays what.

Setting up costs nothing, and there's no monthly fee. Your customer pays the cost of the swap, and sees it before they pay. You receive about your price; in the same coin, exactly. Each payment can be from $50 to $29,999. How our fees work.

What we keep, and when it's gone.

For a merchant: the payout coin and wallet, the shop name, the webhook address and a one-way hash of your merchant key, never the key. For a payment: the coins, the addresses and the times. Invoices are deleted 90 days after they close, and your merchant record goes the moment you delete it from the dashboard. The full list.

Your key is your account. We keep only its hash, so we can't show it again, and there's no email to reset it with: lose it, and you make a new one with the same payout wallet in a minute.

Built for shops like these.

  • Software and licences. Your server gets invoice.paid and sends the licence key.
  • Freelancers and studios. A checkout link on every invoice; clients pay in what they hold.
  • Small online shops and hosting. One link per product, or one API call per order.

Paying one person instead? Private send is made for that.

Crypto payments, answered.

Can I accept crypto payments without KYC?

Yes. Setup asks for your payout coin, your wallet and a shop name. No email, no ID, no company papers.

Do I need a company to use it?

No. A freelancer with a wallet takes a payment the same way a shop does.

What coins can my customers pay with?

Any coin on our list. They pick at checkout.

Which coin do I receive?

The one you chose at setup, to the wallet you gave, every time.

Will I receive the full price?

In the same coin, exactly. Between two coins, about your price: the checkout aims a little above it, and the paid webhook tells you what landed.

Do you hold my money?

No balance is kept with us. Each payment goes out to your wallet as it's paid, so there's nothing to withdraw.

How do I know a payment arrived?

Your server gets a signed invoice.paid webhook with the amount and the transaction, and the dashboard shows it.

How do I check a webhook is really from you?

Compute HMAC-SHA256 of the timestamp and the body with your secret, and compare it with the signature header. The exact steps and a test vector.

Do I need to write code?

No. Make a checkout link in the dashboard for a price, and share it anywhere.

Is there a setup or monthly fee?

No. Your customer pays the cost of the swap, shown before they pay.

What's the smallest and largest payment?

From $50 to $29,999 per payment.

Can I accept Monero?

Yes. Customers can pay in XMR, and you can choose XMR as your payout coin. Monero for shops.

Can customers pay over Lightning?

Not yet. Bitcoin checkouts take an on-chain payment from any wallet that sends to a bc1, 3 or 1 address.

How long does a bitcoin payment take?

We count it after two confirmations, usually about twenty minutes, then pay you out.

What if a customer pays too little or too late?

The checkout tells your server it needs attention, the order pauses, and a person completes it or refunds the customer.

What if I lose my merchant key?

Make a new one with the same payout wallet. We keep only a hash, so we can't send the old one back, and there's no email to reset.

Is there a WooCommerce or Shopify plugin?

Not yet. A checkout link or one API call covers most shops today.

What can't I sell?

Anything illegal where you or your customer are, and anything on the list in our merchant terms.

Every payment comes home.

Any coin in. Yours out.
